Prediction Toolbox for Explorers
An exploration well prediction toolbox for explorers. The prediction toolbox uses a combination of subsurface products in addition to using a series of questions aimed at evaluating how a particular prospect is aligned with the various elements of the petroleum systems. The toolbox has been used for predicting exploration well results on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) since the year 2023.
Product – The output (end product) of the toolbox 🧰 is generally a “drill or no-drill” verdict on the prospect. Predicted outcome is either “successful” or “dry”.
