APA2025 Licensing Round – The deadline for submission of applications has just passed, and applications have been received from 20 companies!👏 Interest in exploration on the Norwegian Continental Shelf remains high!👏.
➡️Great to see that most of the companies that are active on the #NCS have participated and submitted applications👏 ..indicating the willingness by the companies to keep an active and fresh exploration portfolio.👏
➡️Great to see that applications were received for all the three main regions of the #NCS (North Sea, Norwegian Sea, and the Barents Sea).👏
➡️Great to see that Japex Norge AS is back on the list of applicants this year.👏
➡️As summarised by Kalmar, – “It is encouraging to see that there is still significant interest in exploring new acreage in mature areas of the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The interest spans all sea regions, which demonstrates that there are many opportunities to make profitable discoveries from the south to the north of the shelf”.👏
